Remote Embedded Firmware QA Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proficient Embedded Firmware QA Engineer to join our team on a

consultancy basis. The role demands deep knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE),

embedded systems, and extensive firmware testing. The ideal candidate will have

robust experience with Python, familiarity with ISM radios, ESP32, and other

microprocessors, and the ability to meticulously develop and execute test plans to

ensure our products meet our exacting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Extensive QA experience in embedded systems, specifically with BLE and ESP32 or similar microprocessors.

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation.

• Experience with ISM radio technology and understanding of RF communication principles.

• Proven ability to write effective test specifications, cases, and procedures.

• Stong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working independently.

• Significant experience in factory firmware testing within Asian production environments is highly preferred.
